Public Fingerprinting
- Fingerprints are done only at the Wayne County Jail. Located at 1892 S. Macon Street, Jesup, GA.
- No appointment needed however fingerprints are only completed during business hours 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, also not on holidays.
- There is a Fingerprinting Fee of $10.00 and includes two fingerprint cards.
Applicants must provide:
Valid government issued photo ID.
Inmate Funds
The Wayne County Detention Center allows inmates at our facility to order commissary if the inmate has funds available in their account. All necessary meals and hygiene items are provided free of charge to all inmates at our facility and those available through commissary are additional, non-necessary items.

Inmate Communication
The Wayne County Detention Center recognized the importance of an inmate's ability to communicate not only with their legal counsel, but also their family, friends, and the community. The Detention Center provides several options to inmates at the facility for communication including Telephone Calls, Texting, Video Chat Calls, and Postal Mail.

Inmate Inquiry
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has permitted free online access to current inmate information as a service to residents of Wayne County. The information viewable through this Online Inmate Inquiry application is made available for the convenience of the public.
