Criminal Background Checks

A Criminal History can be obtained at the Wayne County E-911 Center, located at 155 North Wayne St, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-5pm, at a cost of $20.00. Email us with any questions you have and we'll be happy to answer them right away! The Wayne County E-911 office provides criminal history background checks through the State of Georgia only. A more detailed background check requires the submission of fingerprint cards.

Please be prepared to have a government-issued picture ID and your original Social Security card. If your Social Security card is unavailable, please go to the Social Security Office to obtain this information before requesting a background check.

Criminal history background checks are $20.00 each, cash only.
